Description
A unique squash variety, with each plant producing 5 to 6 oblong fruits with creamy yellow flesh. When cooked the inner flesh takes on a spaghetti-like texture: the strands can be scooped out and served as a genuine low calorie alternative to pasta or noodles - just add your favourite sauce!
Growing on trailing vines, the fruits can weigh between 1 and 3kg. The thicker rinds mean that you can store this squash for a couple of months after harvesting. The seeds can also be roasted.
If you're cooking the squash whole, make sure to pierce the skin a few times with a fork to avoid an explosion!
