The Perfect Wood Splitter
The difference between a maul and an axe is crucial when you are getting ready to make some firewood for the winter. Both go hand in hand with each other but while and axe is thin and perfect for chopping firewood a mauls thicker head is used for splitting logs into kindling thats perfect for firewood. Our maul has a countoured hickory handle which is perfect for comfortably delivering powerful strikes and can split logs in one swoop.
You don't need to worry about what material you place the wood under as the maul is a blunt instrument that works by splitting the wood fibres rather than chipping it.
