Timber Raised Beds For Vegetable Gardening
Classic timber raised bed kits give you the same growing space as our Deluxe and Premier models. This garden bed is a simpler design and uses smaller internal fixing posts but will still give you 6-8 years of growing. This raised bed planter is ideal for the gardener on a budget but still uses the same treated timber as the more expensive raised beds. Here at Quickcrop, timber raised bed kits are our speciality, we have been successfully supplying amateur and professional gardeners alike all across the UK and Ireland for a number of years now. Raised beds are easier to maintain than a section of garden, the soil can be tailored to suit a particular plant type without changing the entire garden.
Why choose our raised beds over others?
When we went into the manufacture of raised beds we not only designed them for gardeners at the sizes they preferred but also we sourced our timber so it is treated for long life. We made sure the preservative used was safe for use around food crops and is in fact certified by the Soil Association safe for organic growing. This is important as the use of preservatives in the timber can leach into the soil and be taken in by your crops in dangerous levels (this can be a particular problem with old railway sleepers which are soaked in creasote).

We understand that everyone's garden is a different shape and size so we stock classic raised garden beds in a variety of sizes. You can choose by clicking the BED SIZE tab above the add to cart button.
9inch raised garden beds are ideal for growing a wide variety of crops i.e. herbs, salad, beetroot, onions etc..... If you wish to grow root crops like carrots, parsnips or potatoes you will need to use the 14inch high bed.
