Description
Gardening Naturally's wood fibre plant pots are a great option for the eco-friendly gardener. They are peat free, organic and biodegradable. Wood fibre pots encourage healthy and even root distribution. This is because roots can push out through the sides of the pot and are not restricted like in other pots. What's more, the pots can be planted straight into the ground. This means you won't need to transplant them, and so can avoid root disturbance or transplant shock.
To separate, twist the stack to loosen the pots or roll on a flat surface.
Once you have planted your seeds or plants moisten pots and contents using a fine sprinkling rose, always try and keep the pot damp but not wet, this allows easy root penetration.
When planting out ensure that the whole pot is below soil level (not visible) and it is kept moist for first few days.
