Description
StrimGuard protects your trees from accidental strimmer damage. It can be wrapped around the foot of your tree and secured by clipping the ends together. This also protects against damage from mice and other animals.
Long grass and weeds surrounding the base of a young tree can sap nutrients from the plant. However strimming back grass and weed growth frequently results in accidental damage to the bark, which compromises the flow of water and nutrients to the upper part of the sapling. It can also leave the plant vulnerable to infection and mould.
Strimguard is a handy answer to this dilemma. It can be left in place throughout the growing season, or you can move it between trees as you work.
