Replacement Stirring Rake for Hotbin

The Hotbin raking stick can be used to mix organic material as it is added to the composter, as well as to help harvest compost from behind the hatch panel. The stirring rake is strongly recommended as opposed to using a standard rake or fork: its blunt hook minimises the risk of damage to the inner Hotbin. If you have waste that is going anaerobic (starting to smell putrid), the stirring rake is perfect for mixing in bulking agent, shredded paper or cardboard to balance things out.
