The Burgon & Ball Paper Pot Maker is a clever alternative to plastic pot usage. The pot-making kit allows you to create your own supply of biodegradable seedling pots from recycled newspaper.
The wooden cylinder 'pot former' is made from FSC-certified beech wood (from sustainably managed forests).
Because the pots are fully biodegradable, you can plant your seedlings out directly, meaning there is minimal root disturbance or disruption.
The kit allows you to make 3 pot sizes: 3cm, 4.75cm and 6cm in diameter.
Newspaper not included.
How it works:
Loosely wrap a strip of newspaper around the pot former.
Tuck the ends under the pot former.
Firm into place with the provided base piece.
Fill with seedling compost and plant the pot up.
