Description
This roll away laying nest features a hygienic nest pad made from polyethylene. As well as being very comfortable for hens to use, the fingers of the nest pad ensure that the eggs have minimum contact with manure or other debris. The pad is removable and can be easily cleaned.
The ingenious design doesn't end there. The nest pad slopes down toward the collecting tray, and the sloping floor can be set at three different angles. The brown lid of the collecting tray hinges and gives easy access to the eggs, while the sloping roof prevents poultry from sitting on the laying nest.
The Nestomatic laying nest is designed for small flocks of poultry. One laying nest is required for every 5 hens.
Comes with green PVC curtain; this ensures that the hens can lay eggs in a dark and sheltered environment.
Several Nestomatics can be connected to each other via the supplied mounting kit.
