Description
Golden Sweet Mangetout will add a refreshing burst of colour to your garden. The plant produces mauve-purple blooms, with golden yellow pods emerging from red-tinged leaf nodes.
It's a tall-growing variety which can reach heights of 180cm, so it will benefit from support. The edible pods have a crisp taste that is great for snacking, but they are equally useful for steaming or adding to stir fries. It's better to pick the pods when they're young as they will become stringier the longer they are left.
A great crop for attracting bees.
