Do you have suggestions as to hooks that can be used for, or how to, secure the bottom of the net to the wood frame so it can easily be lifted for access ?
I think to use the ‘Screws & Washers For Mini Polytunnels’ you sell to secure this net with, may not be the best solution. The xxxx will eat/cut the net over time. (That is if the net will even fit over the washer ?)
Thanks,

Hi there
The screws and washer system is probably the best solution we have. If you were concerned about the screws tearing the mesh you could use a brass wood xxxx with a smooth shank near the xxxx head. Alternatively, you could staple the mesh to a timber batten and fix the batten with screws.

They will get through it no problem but a very good question. The mesh is 7mm x 7mm which is plenty big for any bees or hoverflies etc to get through but small enough to stop the Butterflys

This will keep off Butterflys and birds but is not a tight enough mesh to keep off aphids and insects etc. You would need to use Micromesh or Biomesh for that. Both are available on our website. The cheaper bird netting will protect against the birds but not Butterflys or insects
