Description
The Devonport Bulkhead Light is immediately striking. The design is based on the lighting found on naval ships, while the name itself refers to the naval base Devonport in Plymouth. The light has a heavy Brass-crafted exterior which is durable and weatherproof. Its unique ribbed glass design is just as imposing. The Bulkhead Light will be right at home placed next to grand doorways, on exterior walls or even in your potting shed or workspace.
The fitting is IP65 rated and has been designed to fit a standard E27 bulb. The material has been left raw. allowing the brass to darken over time. Due to this the light may display the brass patina known as Verdigris (green). This natural ageing process is intentional. To maintain the shiny appearance, apply a good quality metal polish or wadding.
Material is solid raw brass and does not have any lacquer or sealant.
