These mini seed trays are made from 100% plant-based materials, making them a sustainable choice suited to organic gardening. They are manufactured using a biodegradable polymer, which is industrially compostable in accordance with EN 13432 standards. Their carbon footprint is also very low: LCA calculations by Eurochain show that they produce 30% lower CO2 emissions than a similar tray made from recycled polypropylene.

You can compost it at home, but it will take longer to bio-degrade at home - it can take anything up to 2 years depending on the heat generated.
