Soil Renew is a great product. A less fierce way to feed plants. Plants seem to do very well after application. I apply in March at the beginning of the growing season. One mishap that occurred last year I had been ground feeding garden birds with suet pellets all winter long. When I spread the Soil Renew pellets in March they look just like the suet pellets and the birds ate them all. Yes every single one.

I was delighted that the delivery was very quick. I cannot comment on the effectiveness since I've just put it into the soil. Be happy to tell you next year

    Soil Renew - Soil Improver

This is the second time I've used Soil Renew. I use it in the Autumn on my lawn. It has helped to improve aeration on my heavy clay soil and works better than trying to use mechanical means to aerate. I have a large area to cover (700 sq mtr) so it is a bit expensive but it saves in the long run as it drastically reduces the amount of other types of fertiliser that I have to apply. I haven't tried it yet in my raised beds as I've always just used pelleted chicken manure but plan to buy an extra tub next autumn to apply to my beds overwinter.

A little on the expensive side and we do not know what it is made from so has to be taken on trust. Am going to give it a try on my raised beds. Not sure if I should apply it now, early winter, or await the coming spring.

It is difficult to quantify the results as I have used manure as well but my garden did seem particularly abundant last year (though this may have been due to the excellent Summer). I cannot fault delivery and customer service which was excellent.

Practical size of container. Found the soil renew had an almost immediate effect on the grassland and vegetable patches where it was applied. Previously waterlogged grazing area is now good soil, a lot drier and grass has returned to a fresher healthier green despite the downturn in the weather. Not economical for large scale agricultural applications but excellent results so far on small experimental area
