The award winning Vitopod electric heated seedling propagator provides the perfect environment for seeds, cuttings and overwintering plants. It offers better germination rates than other propagators, and is widely used in both plant nurseries and home gardens.
The Vitopod is a stackable system, so you can increase height where needed by adding height extensions. The 'Large' refers to the length of the base. Separate extensions are available HERE for increasing the height of your unit, up to 4ft if required.

Precise control The Vitopod's thermostat can be set in 1 degree increments anywhere between 5°C and 30°C. The lower temperature settings are ideal for over-wintering cuttings and prized plants, while higher temperatures are great for getting hot chillies and exotic seeds off to a flying start. The display on the thermostat shows both the actual and the set temperatures.
Soil Temperature Sensor The Vitopod's temperature sensor which you place inside the propagator is highly sensitive and responds quickly to changes. This then triggers the supply of more or less heat depending on the reading, so your seeds and cuttings are always at the right temperature.
Effective Ventilation Large, adjustable vents are built in to the lid of the Vitopod. This allows condensation to be released and prevents excess humidity or 'dampening off' of plants. It also ensures good air circulation.
Evenly Heated Base The base features a fully enclosed and completely waterproof heating element, which gives an even spread of heat across the base with no hot or cold spots. This ensures consistent, reliable germination.
Height Adjustable The Vitopod features a unique stack-able system. Each extension increases the units height by 15cm (6 inches). Add extra height to transform your Vitopod propagator into a mini-greenhouse and give plants more growing room. Perfect for when the weather is taking its time to warm up enough for you to plant out, or for protecting taller mature plants from the cold.
Robust The Vitopod propagator is built to last. The lids and sides are made from durable acrylic material and are treated to protect them against UV deterioration. The crystal clear lid and sides mean that the Vitopod also looks the part.
