Digging Spade
The half brite digging spade from Greenman traditional gardening tools has a black painted carbon steel head on a sustainably sourced, Y shaped Ash wood handle. The steel used is a high carbon, rust resistant stainless steel. Carbon steel tools are hard wearing and have the ability to be honed to perfection by the user, in fact the more you use them the better they get.
The handle is Y shaped to minimise the effort required in digging, and it has a reinforcing timber wedge for extra strength. With a narrower blade this beautifully balanced tool is exceptionally handy in the border and in-between plants where root disturbance must be kept at a minimum. Perfect for any general digging jobs.
