Description
This double sided Appennino garden hoe is from the Falci range of high quality, Italian made gardening tools. It has a double sided head fixed securely to a long, rounded, Beech timber handle. On one side is a blade for chopping through weeds and dragging or forming soil for planting, and on the other end is a narrower head for more precise work. The double sided head sits at a right angle to the handle, this acts like a lever and greatly decreases the effort required by the gardener. This hoe is lightweight compared to other tools from the Falci range and it is ideal for use on raised beds, containers, window boxes and borders. Perfect for getting in amongst your plants, the head is narrow enough to afford you greater control while working.
The Falci company was founded in 1921 and they have been manufacturing gardening tools to the same high standard using centuries-long traditional methods since. They supply two lines of garden tools, the specialist line which includes this hoe, and the standard heavy duty line.
