Endive 'Pancalieri'

Description

Pancalieri is a curly leafed variety of endive. The pale green leaves have a slightly bitter taste and their frizzy texture make the perfect contrast when added to other leafy greens in a salad. The strong leaves stem from a self blanching creamy white heart. 

Sowing & Spacing:

Sow from May to July. Sow each seed into an individual module (approx 1cm deep) and plant out after about 4 weeks.

Space plants 25cm (9.8in) apart, with 30cm (11.8in) spacing between rows.
