Description
Daikon radishes are used for pickles, cooking and grated raw in salads. Very easy to grow this asian radish. Produces long white tapered roots with a mild mustard flavour. Used in Japanese Taku-An pickles.

Sowing:
Sow directly outside in a well prepared seed bed in shallow drills (1.5cm deep). Best sown in late Summer as early Summer sowings may bolt.
Spacing:
Between rows: 25 cm
Thin to 5cm between plants.
