Seedling Tray & Root Trainer In One
Deep rootrainers are perfect for propagating and cultivating nearly all plants but they are especially suited to plants with deep fast growing roots. Using the deep root trainer plant tray can help plants to develop quicker as it helps the roots grow straight and strong.
The cells are arranged in books of 4, the tray itself holds 8 of these books, giving you 32 cells for seedlings. The books slot neatly into the tray and open easily for removal of the seedlings without damaging the young root system.
Ideal for (among many others); broad beans, runner beans, french beans, beetroot and herbaceous plants like sweet peas and wallflowers etc. The deep root trainer is reusable and can be used season after season.

These are great for climbing beans and peas. Seedlings develop long roots and grow away quickly when planted out. I've also used them for early carrots and parsnips, planting out when roots exit the base. You have to pack the compost in quite firmly or it breaks apart when opened. You also need to be gentle with them as the plastic can tear easily. Definitely recommend them

these are great value in the potting shed or on the window sill, as they give the your plants that little bit more room , are not crowded searching for light and can be kept longer in the tray hardening off if the weather does not oblige with the clear plastic covers i have started tomatoes and peppers in January on the sitting room window sill above the radiator

I was very happy to get the roottrainers, and they were delivered very fast! These were great for small vegetables, but I wished for larger ones, for cuttings. When it came, the description suggested that they have more sizes, while I could not notice it on the website when buying.
