Description
Claytonia (also knows as winter purslane or miners lettuce) is one of the best winter and spring salad vegetables - it can be grown year-round in drifts or between other vegetables and with white flowers and a dainty habit makes ideal edging for borders. Claytonia is an attractive winter salad crop rich in vitamin C with a flavour similar to spinach. Can be treated as baby spinach and eaten raw or steamed.
