Description
Waltham Butternut Squash is the benchmark for large squashes with an average weight of 2.5kg. It can produce a yield of 3/4 fruits per plant. Waltham has a powdery mildew resistance which helps support the improved sweetness.
Sowing and Spacing
Sow from the middle of April until late May. Sow each seed into an individual small pot or large module and plant out after hardening off, after approximately six weeks.
Plant 60cm between plants in rows 60cm apart.
