This wire rat trap is a humane and non-toxic alternative to other traps that are designed to injure or kill. Instead the rodent can be captured and released. The cage is designed to capture one rodent at a time. They can then be removed from the home or premises and released in the outdoors.
Made from strong wire mesh, the cage is spot welded and galvanised with one entrance. A meat hook on the inside of the cage can be used to hang bait from. On the outside a handle is provided for safety and ease of movement.

It is good practice to check cage traps regularly for catches.
For live releases: release into a natural environment away from any obvious and immediate risk of danger or predators. Ensure there are adequate sources of food and shelter available nearby.
