This is a slow-release fertiliser that contains a balanced ratio of the main elements that tomatoes require to thrive (NPK).
When tomato plants don't get sufficient nutrients they can suffer from issues such as yellowing leaves, pest infestations or blight.
Liquid Tomato Fertiliser bolsters the plant's natural defences and encourages robust root establishment.
It is also suitable for use with fruiting or flowering crops such as cucumbers, courgettes and flowering blooms. Very effective for plants in hanging baskets and containers.
To Use:
Shake bottle well before use.
Dilute 20ml of Better tomatoes in 2l water.
Apply the diluted feed to the compost/soil around the base of the plant until completely saturated.
Avoid wetting the foliage.
Greenhouse/Polytunnel:
Start feeding every 7 days when plant has flowers.
Always feed the roots NOT LEAF.
Outdoors:
Start feeding when flowering. In soil, feed every 7 days and use 4.5 litres for two plants.
Gro-bags:
Use 4.5 litres per bag.
Outdoors, feed once a week.
In greenhouses, increase to twice a week.
Gro-bags dry out fast.
