Kohl Rabi 'Superschmelz'

This giant, alien-looking variety can weigh up to 8kg with 8-10 inch bulbs. The globe-like stem can be cooked or eaten raw; it's delicious when roasted.

Superschmelz can be harvested when young but will retain its tenderness and delicate flavour even when grown to full size. It also won't become stringy. The crop can grow up to 60cm high and has a large root system.
