Description
The Durapost end fixing U-Channel is used to connect the last panel on a Durapost fence system to the end post or to a wall. The U-Channel can also be used on a corner post and is fixed on adjoining sides of the corner post to hold the fence panel.
The U-Channel is a 'U' profile length of galvanised steel with screw holes along one edge to fix timber or comnposite fence panels and boards.
This item is available in 1.8m and 2.1m lengths, the 1.8m option is for a standard 1.8m high fence, the 2.1m option is for a higher fence where a composite gravel board and fence panel are used together as shown in the illustration below.

Hi Sheena. You can use this timer with a water but but if the head height of the butt is low and therefore water pressure low you may need to use a pump. See full answer »

Hi, Appreciate that you are under pressure, but I am very disappointed with this piece of equipment. Purchased it last year and was delighted with its performance. However, this year it has given a lot of problems. The screen froze, and despite changing b...

...attery etc it would not "un-freeze". After about 3 weeks it randomly started to work for a while. However, now the timer unit seems to be ok, but the valve itself doesn't close (i.e the unit sends the signal to the valve, but it doesn't fully close). I now have to turn on / off the supply at the tap when I need to water - not so much a problem during lockdown, but will be an issue when I return to work, go on holidays etc.
An expensive piece of kit, worth it when working properly, but very frustrating when it doesn't work.
Any advice as to what I can do with it? See more »

Hi Shaun. I am sorry to hear this unit is not working for you, I am surprised as they rarely give trouble, especially 2 separate issues. I will check one here but I expect the unit can be re-set if the screen freezes but, like I said, I have not seen this issues before. The valve may stick if water from a water butt is used without a filter, I am not sure if this is the case here. Either way I am keen to solve the problem and will email you directly as it will be easier to sort out. See full answer »

Hi Trevor
No issue with life of the batteries. They will comfortably last over a year before having to be changed. Mine is over 2 years and i haven't had to change the battery once
