Description
Our weed block matting is made out of spun bonded polypropylene weed control fabric. It has high levels of UV stabiliser which allows air, liquid, and nutrients to pass through to the soil. The fabric can be easily cut to create different lengths or just to make plant holes.

2m x 10m, 2m x 50m, 2m x 100m, you can choose using the 'Size' tab above.

This is 25gsm. It doesn't show on the rolls themselves but i have just been in touch with the manufacturer and they have confirmed this

I am looking for a barrier in a raised bed between stones at the bottom and compost at the top. Would this be suitable or would it decompose in time?

Hi Todd
No this is not the product you need. You need Mypex ground cover which will allow the water through but not the soil and won't break down in time. Just put the word Mypex in the search bar and it till come up for you

Can this be used to cover raised beds and is so how long does it last and can it be used indoors and out?

Yes it is very good as a week block on raised beds and can be cut to size. It can be used indoors and out no problem. It is made for outdoor use.

Whats the difference between this weed block and mypex? they seem to do the same thing but this is more expensive, I think.

The weed block totally cuts out all light and is not as porus as the Mypex. Other than that not a huge difference to be honest. The weed block is bio-degradeable and will break down over time. The Mypex is plastic based
