Raised Garden Planter Kits For Vegetables
This 35cm high raised garden bed kit comes from our deluxe range. Deluxe raised vegetable planters are made from thick 3cm boards, galvanised steel brackets and 10cm corner posts. This bed will give you at least 8-10 yrs of vegetable growing and is our best looking and longest lasting bed. The thicker timber boards and unique corner posts are what make this raised bed so solid. The introduction of metal fixing brackets makes them last that much longer than other raised beds.
We have designed the deluxe range of raised beds for vegetable gardeners, both professional and novice alike. Vegetable gardeners re-use the same raised bed or beds year after year, they try new methods and move the bed around for better sun or shade depending on the crop. These garden planters have that extra durability that will help them withstand years of being worked on, repeated movement, emptying and refilling.
35cm high raised garden beds let you grow a very broad range of vegetables including root crops like carrots, parsnips and potatoes as well as shallower root vegetables like salads, cabbage, beetroot, peas and beans. They are shipped in a flatpack kit and are very easy to assemble, all fixings required are included as well as full assembly instructions.
Please note all of our 3.6m (12ft) beds come as as two 1.8m (6ft) sections and can be set up as 2 beds & linked together or as one long bed with a linking board across the centre. All our 2.4m (8ft) beds come as 2 x 1.2m (4ft) beds for linking together.

These are really quite beautiful raised beds I love the corners of them. These are quite heavy so remember to have someone there to lift them though.

5 Timber Raised Bed Gardening Kit - Deluxe 14in High
QuickCrop is my go-to for raised beds. I upgraded to Deluxe in our new home's back garden. It was well worth it as the bed looks terrific and is very sturdy and built to last. Like the other beds I've gotten from QuickCrop, this one was easy to put together. I lost the instructions and, again as always, QuickCrop came through with a digital copy. I cannot say enough good things about QuickCrop's uniformly excellent customer service and reliable quality. You won't regret buying this bed.

5 Timber Raised Bed Gardening Kit - Deluxe 14in High
Bought a 4ft x 4ft deluxe raised bed three weeks ago and I am so impressed with the quality and it’s attractive look that I am about to order another. It was easy to assemble, (but I put the brackets on the inside for a more attractive finish), and it looks great. Yes there are cheaper ones on the market and I even considered making my own but the quality of materials and the finished look means it is more a piece of furniture which would look great in any situation.

5 Timber Raised Bed Gardening Kit - Deluxe 14in High
Impressed with my deluxe bed. Looks swish and was simple to put together even with no DIY skills whatsoever. The tip in another review about putting the planks on the outside of the bracket is simple and effective too. Love it. Will be buying another.

5 Timber Raised Bed Gardening Kit - Deluxe 14in High
We have 4 super attractive raised beds in a line.Easy to assemble, v. strong to withstand and keep out dogs and wild animals. Height when filled just right for root crops. Only problem when building them was that my husband threw away the wrapping including some of the screws which he hadn't noticed so we had to get more. That's the only negative and our fault anyway. Highly recommend them for amy size of garden.

Hi There
Yes, you can paint our raised beds but If you are using them for food growing I would advise a water based, food safe paint.

You can of course set the brackets on the inside however they are nicely galvanised and look well on the outside. However the main reason for them being set this way is that they take the weight of the soil on to the bracket and if you set them on the inside the pressure is on the screws instead of the bracket so probably not as strong

Please accept my apologies for the late reply to your question. Our Deluxe beds are made from preassure treated timber using the new version of 'Tanalith E'. This is a chemical to make the timber last longer but it is certified safe for use with food crops. Andrew See full answer »

If it is going on a patio it is best to use a liner as this allows the water pass through however it doesn't take any soil out with it. Put the word Liner in the search bar and you will find them

That bed will take 1,580 litres of compost to fill from top to bottom
No need for ground fabric. Once you have a 14 inch bed or above nothing will grow up through that depth of soil so you can just put it down on the grass and fill away

The beds are deep enough that they don't need anything underneath however if you want to stop heavy roots of trees coming up you can put a layer underneath. However make sure to use Mypex ground cover which will let the water pass down through but stops any weeds coming up
