Our timber composter units are a heavy duty construction designed for long life and ease of use. The unit features .75 inch thick timber boards fixed to 3inch square corner posts. The front boards of the composter are also easily removed allowing easy access while filling and emptying the bin. The front boards simply slot into the heavy duty plastic brackets fixed to the corner posts and can be removed and replaced in seconds.
Our unique design also allows you to remove the bottom row of front slats while leaving the top in place. This means you can remove composted material from the bottom of the pile while leaving the fresh material at the top.
N.B. the image features the 3 bay 5ft version of the compost bin, this product is the single bay 4ft version. More detailed photos to follow.
The Kit features as follows:
15 no. 90cm (3ft) by 17.5cm tall treated timber boards.

4 Single Bay Easy Access Timber Composter
The materials look good. The instructions were difficult to understand. They need more detail and perhaps photos of each step. I think it would be best if you could mount the slat holders on the timber posts before shipping so they are right and it makes it easier to build.

I am afraid we don't sell a lit for the composter although we are looking in to it. That said i don't use one myself as i find the compost needs the natural moisture from March to October. A cover over winter does help so as i said we are developing one
