Timber Raised Bed Kits For Vegetable Gardening
These timber raised bed kits are perfect for growing your own vegetables in the garden, allotment or polytunnel. We've re-designed our Premier range of raised vegetable beds. We decided to go for a chunkier version of the hugely popular 'Classic' bed made with a much thicker 35mm timber. This means that as well as looking the part in any garden, they also last much longer. The 35cm high premier is ideal for growing a wide range of herbs and salads, as well as climbing plants like peas and beans and deeper root crops like parsnips, carrots and potatoes.
Raised beds take all the hard work out of vegetable gadening, they are raised so less bending is required, soil can be treated for individual crops without having to treat the entire garden. They are also a very neat and tidy way to grow your own. A row of raised beds in the garden or polytunnel looks very neat and professional. Click for more info on raised beds.
We deliver all our raised beds right to your door all across Ireland and the UK. Raised beds will be shipped out in easy to assemble flatpack kits with any required fixings included as well as full assembly instructions.
Robust Long Life Raised Bed Kits
All our beds are made from timber cut and treated to our specification in our our local sawmills. The preservative used is certified by the soil association safe for use with organic food crops. We treat all our timber after it has been cut to size, this means that every part of the raised bed will be treated properly and will last longer as a result. Alot of other raised bed manufacturers treat their timber and then cut to size, meaning the ends will remain untreated and will tend to rot much earlier. The Premier range of raised beds will last 10 good years as a solid vegetable planter.
Choose Your Size:
We supply the Premier 35cm kits in a variety of sizes to fit any garden type. You can choose the required size by clicking the BED SIZE tab above the add to cart button.

5 Sturdy design with great depth
Just bought my 3rd kit of the 120x240x35 cm bed ! I really love the chunky and sturdy design and especially the depth of 35 cm. Almost every crop can be grown with that depth even carrots or brassicas. Very easy to fit but you definitely need an electric screwdriver. On the other hand these beds need a lot of stuff to fill . I usually put loads of sheep wool in the base followed by a few barrows of manure and topped with a few bags of good quality compost. My wife and I always use them as two 120cm x 120cm beds positioned close to the house to grow kitchen essentials like herbs ,salads, carrots , onions etc. to save us a trip down to our main vegetable plot in the garden in case we need something instantly in the kitchen from the garden. I can really recommend this planter.

5 Raised bed
Lovely kit, straightforward to assemble even though I'm only learning to use a drill . I recommend using clamps to hold things in position. I'll be back for more. It was delivered the next day, too.

4 Premier raised bed
The raised bed arrived with no problems re delivery. However I intend to apply for replacement of two boards which have particularly large holes (at knot points) which I feel are so close to the edge to potentially become weaker over time. I will be emailing you with photos. Thankyou

5 Very satisfied
This is our second raised bed from QuickCrop. The first one, bought several years ago, is still as robust as the day we bought it. The delivery of this second one was speedy and trouble-free. The driver was very helpful leaving the parcel in a place which was very convenient for us. We would wholeheartedly recommend QuickCrop to others.

Yes very safe. It is the newer version of Tanalith E that we use but we don't mark this on the wood. It is perfectly fine to use for growing food. This is one of the reasons why people buy their raised beds from us

The water passes through the bed very slowly so there won't be any issue with it pooling as in truth the soil holds on to most of the water and it evaporates off through the plants and the top of the soil during dry periods. On the other question of staining. Even with a liner. If you remove the bed in years to come there will be marks on your porcelain. They should be easy to clean off but i can't swear by that not having done so in the past

We do sell liners alright. Just put the word liner in the search bar and they will come up. That said if you have a bed 14 inches or higher and it is going on grass or soil there is no need for a liner as nothing will grow up through that

You can fit 2 together and leave the centre boards open. The wood is treated with a substance called Tanalith E which is certified by the soil association as fine to use when growing food. As a result i would think it is perfectly fine for animals

Yes to both! We can supply a 4 x 2 and you could just order an 8 x 2 and make 2 x separate beds.
I hope this answers your query.

Yes they do include the screws and instructions. You may be reading old reviews as we had issues in the past with them coming off the packs but we have that all sorted now

I am afraid we are so crazy at the moment that special sizes over 6ft are an issue.
Sorry about that

Hi There
We don't do a standard raised bed with a base but we do supply lining material which will prevent soil coming into direct contact with your patio. Please see the link here:
https://www.quickcrop.co.uk/product/l...
We also supply raised planters on legs which would solve the problem e.g. the Vegtrug here:
