Hi, I'm going to buy your 6x4 raised bed with one of these liners. Unfortunately, I do not have a suitable stapler to fix the liner to the wood. What nails would you recommend I purchase to fix the liner in place?

Hi Tom
Just general tacs with a 4mm head will do fine. It is just to keep the liner in place until the soil is filled in. Once the soil goes in the liner won't move

Hi there, thank you for your question. I would suggest the 6x4 liner for a 120 x 90 raised bed. The liner can be folded into the bed and will hold in place by the soil or compost if carefully filled. See full answer »

Hi, I am looking to get the 8' x 4' 21" raised bed, which will go onto the concrete base of an old shed. I can't see a liner for that size of bed though, do you do these or would you recommend something else?

Hi David
The 6ft x 6ft liner will do what you need. It won't go the whole way up the 8ft side of the bed but it will go about half way up and you can tack it on to the side and then fill with soil. It will stop the water passing through the bed and bringing soil with it which is the main purpose if putting on concrete

Hi Niall, it's around a foot high so on second thoughts maybe a higher liner would be requited? How long could I expect a liner to last as well please? Thank you.

Hi again Rhodri
The liners for a 14" high bed (roughly) x 8ft x 3ft are £7.95 each and will last between 12/15 years in soil. This particular size is not on the website but i can give it to you if you like. Just phone the office and we will sort it out for you
Regards

Hi, What size would you recommend for a raised bed 6ft x 3ft and 18" deep? Also can water pass through the membrane, thanks

Hi John
The standard one for a 6 x 3 bed will fit that depth of bed and yes water will pass through no problem. The purpose of them is to stop anything growing up through the soil but allow the water pass out

On your response to my question on how to fit the liner to my 21" raised bed, you say it should not be in two pieces but the liner I have received from you is in two pieces. Am I to understand that it should not be ?

Hi Carol. If you have a 6x6 bed the liner is supplied in 2 pieces as we don't have a width sufficient to supply in one. The sheets should be overlapped by approx 32 inches and will make no difference to the performance of the bed. I hope this helps. Andrew See full answer »

Hi Nadine.
The 6ft x 3ft one will be large enough and you can fold it back in at the sides as it will be slightly oversized at the sides

Hi, my bed is 120x 80cm, will one of these work and if so which would you recommend? Many thanks

Hi Eleanor
Just go for the one for 4ft x 4ft. It will be to large for your bed so you either just cut it to size which is really easy or fold it back down in to the bed and staple to the sides. Either way it will work perfectly well

is there an easy method to inserting the liner, we are complete novices and it all seems a bit daunting, thanks.

Hi Joanne. I find easiest to staple opposite sides to the timber and the fold and staple the remaining 2 ends. It doesn't need to be exact, it is just to stop soil escaping around the base of the bed. See full answer »
