This stuff is the business. Why? It is produced from seaweed sustainably harvested off the west coast of Ireland.
Other seaweed feeds available on the market are produced from a powdered raw material. Our "Sea Nymph' liquid is produced from hand harvested Ascophyllum nodosum, a seaweed species exclusive to the North Atlantic Ocean. Harvesting by hand ensures quick plant recovery and causes minimal disruption to the natural habitat. It also produces a far more potent raw material which gives this product its extra punch.
The base extract is mixed with additional NPK and complexed minerals to tailor the range to specific needs throughout the year. Complexing of the minerals helps ensure they work for longer when applied as the complexing acts as a slow releasing agent giving longer performance to the minerals.
Application:
Apply February to October.
Dilute 50mls of feed in 9 litres (or 2 gallons) of water.
Use weekly before and after flowering to improve flowering, fruit set and enhance fruit flavour.
Why use seaweed feed?
Seaweed contains the major plant nutrients but also a whole range of micro nutrients often absent in old and tired soil. Will also promote root growth and stimulate microbial soil life which makes more nutrients available to your plants. Seaweed fertiliser feeds will also strengthen the plants immune system, helping to fight off bacterial and fungal attack.
The difference between our seaweed fertiliser feed and many others on the market is most other seaweed tonics use a powdered raw material which is diluted to produce the finished liquid. Our Soil Conditioner and Plant Tonic is made the old fashioned way, it's hand harvested in the unspoilt waters of the West coast of Ireland with the fresh seaweed going directly into the production process.
How are Sea Nymph Seaweed products made?
The sustainably harvested seaweed is first washed to remove any loose sand and shells. The seaweed is then placed in stainless steel vats where the extraction process takes place. The idea is to break down the cell walls to release the broad range of nutrients unique to seaweed.
Minerals, vitamins, amino acids and saccharides (sugar molecules) are first extracted and then cold filtered to remove any insoluble particles. The filtered end product is then bottled for use in your vegetable garden.

4 Irish Organic Seaweed Soil Conditioner and Plant Tonic. 2.5 litre.
Hard for me to say if this is better than other seaweed products. I buy 2.5 lr each year and use it regularly around my veg plot. It does appear to be quite a concentrated liquid in comparison to most others so makes a lot of feed solution.

This is the best seaweed conditioner I have used. I use it on everything including tomatoes, fruit trees, cucumbers and everything else in my greenhouse, also raspberries and many other fruiting and ornamental plants. Of particular note is a tree the county council planted outside my house (Mountain Ash called Joseph Rock) The county council removed a large Sycamore tree whose roots were lifting up the pavement and cracking garden walls. The county council used a stump grinder and planted the mountain ash on top of the stump then covered the roots with some rock hard lumps of clay. The poor mountain ash had hardly any roots (Bare Rooted planting) I was present and witnessed the whole thing. It was also planted in March 2018 before one of the hottest and driest summers on record. This tree was doomed without my assistance. I watered the poor mountain ash several times a week and fed seaweed feed and also the tomato feed version of the seaweed feed available from Quickcrop as well. I als

5 Irish Organic Seaweed Soil Conditioner and Plant Tonic. 2.5 litre.
My soil and my vegetables both adore this Seaweed tonic. I have been using the 500ml size all summer and I still have some left so great value for money and wonderful for growning vegetables and fruit. I live in an urban area and have no choice but to grown a lot of my vegetables in containers but a weekly feed of this liquid seaweed tonic has really been a boost to the yield I am getting - my french beans in particular seem to produce a lot more and I used it instead of standard tomato food on my tomatoes this year and am still harvesting ripe tomatoes here in mid October in Ireland. I will order the larger size bottle when I eventually run out (It lasts forever). Thanks Quickcrop.

This product will be good for hedging however the likes of Hedging is better with a slow release feed like our Seafeed rather than a liquid feed. A liquid feed will give the plants a quick boost but for hedging they need constant feed

Yes this is a very good feed for Garlic but later in the season as the bulbs start to expand in late April early May. Just mix with water 1/10 in your watering can and water on the plants

It would be fine however you would have to be constantly feeding the trees through the season with it. You would be best to use Seafeed which you spread on the soil 1ft to 3ft from the trunk of the tree. This will slow release in to the soil over the season and do a lot more for the trees
