The Infra-Red Nestbox Camera Kit gives you the chance to watch garden birds nesting close up without disturbing their daily activities. The kit comprises a natural wooden nestbox with removable lid to discretely view nesting garden visitors.
The high quality mini camera automatically reverts to infra-red, transmitting in black and white, when the light fails in order to watch at night. It also provides an audio feed using the integrated microphone. The box has a small side window to cast light into the box during daytime.
This nest box gives you the opportunity to watch garden birds as they build their nest and incubate their eggs. Watch the eggs hatch and the young fledglings being fed as they grow into independent chicks. The camera can removed and used in avairies, bat boxes, hutches or any other weather protected wildlife dwelllings.
30 metres of composite cable is included to connect the camera system to your TV or home recorder. It can also be connected to a PC or laptop with the use of a separate USB adapter (not supplied). Power for the camera is supplied through the cable with the use of the included power adapter. The system is designed to be plug and play without any complicated setup procedure. Note: The super mini camera is not fully waterproof so should not be used outdoors without protection or housing.
The nestbox housing is manufactured from FSC certified timber, fully seasoned without chemical preservatives. The entrance hole is protected with a 32mm sustainable copper insert. All Wildlife World products are developed after consultation with conservation groups with a view to preserving wildlife and their natural habitat. This starter camera system is a non-invasive method of observing garden birds close up without damaging their environment or disturbing their sensitive daily activities.
