The heavy duty bird protection netting is a tough and durable extruded square mesh that protects plants from birds and other animals. It has a mesh size of 18mm x 23mm and can be used with any frames, structures or supports.

Hi Richard
All questions are relevant. Once you have this netting fixed on to good posts it will be plenty strong to hold the cats back and it is solid enough that they won't get tangled in it. As it is to stop birds and stops them getting tangles in the netting

We have wrens and stupid fledglings of various species who are very attracted to soft fruit. In your experience, does this size net keep these out?

This one is good and will work but we have one that is narrower and will work better for smaller birds. Line below
