These square plant pots are standard black plastic pots with extra holes in the base for better drainage and ventilation. The great thing about these pots is that they are so inexpensive.

These pots are available in 3 different sizes: small (7 x 7 x 8cm), medium (9 x 9 x 10cm), and large (11 x 11 x 11cm). You can choose using the 'Size' tab above.

3 Not Gott pots
I specifically wanted Gott or Gottinger pots as they stack together well with what I have. These pots don’t stack with Gott pots which is a HUGE nuisance for me. That said they are very very good quality and very very cheap! So if they are your first purchase I’d say go for them they will last you for many years.

5 Gottinger Square Pots
As a very keen gardener with a big garden I need a lot of pots and these are in my opinion the best on the market for seed sowing or potting on. They are very robust and unlike some cheap and nasty types they do not crack or crinkle and can be used over and over again. I buy 50 at a time but never seem to have enough for all my plants. Price is reasonable and can definitely recommend.

Brilliant pots for me as they take up less room and fit together nicely also they are NOT flimsy, having bought pots in the past the that were I really like these, reasonable price too!

The smallest one is fine for potting on for seedlings as by the time they have outgrown these pots they should be out in the ground.

They are approx (if not exactly) one litre. I am afraid it doesn't say on the pot but on a rough measurement it would be a litre and as they are a commercial pot they will be designed as a specific volume. I hope this makes sense. See full answer »
The reason we carry Gottinger in particular is that they are actually very strong
So in answer to your question they are very robust
