Easy To Use Slug Barrier
Copper slug tape is a completely safe to use and non toxic method of garden snail and slug control. Slugs hate copper and won't cross it as it gives them a miniature electric shock. The shock stops these pests in their tracks and they turn right around. It is not harmful to any wildlife and can safely be used on and around planters, pots, raised beds, polytunnels, greenhouses and trees.
How To Use:
Just remove protective paper and apply to a dry clean surface. Stick the tape in a complete circle around the pot or other item which needs protection.Trim any part of the plant which may overhang the protected zone or that may act as a bridge for the pests to enter. As with any copper material, this tape will change to a “verdigris” colour, creating a more natural look. This change will not affect the performance of the product.Please note: Ensure there are no slugs above the tape before application.
