Cat Deterring Garden Pest Control
Scat a cat repellent is an easy to use granular formula which repels cats from your vegetable beds, lawns and flower borders. Unfortunately the seed bed you create to grow your own food is equally attractive to cats which need to kept at bay to maintain a healthy vegetable garden.
Bayer Scat a Cat is based on natural ingredients, the active aroma is garlic extract making this product perfectly safe for the vegetable garden and children's play areas.
Advice on Application
Scat a Cat deters cats from scratching, digging and fouling in the garden. The active garlic ingredient is held in an inert clay base.
Preparation:
Remove any previous animal foulings from the area requiring treatment. Rake out any previous holes or scratching sites from the soil or gravel area.
Application:
Scatter Lightly over the area you wish to protect.
Rate of Use:
3gms per sqm.
Precaution for use:
Store in original container, tightly closed in a cool, dry, safe place.

You can cut the mats easily with a scissors but we don't recommend it as it will leave an unsealed edge which may fray over time. If you need to cut it I would advise creating a hem by folding the edge over a couple of times (only a cm or so) and stapling along the seam with an ordinary stapler. That will ensure the mat lasts as long as possible. I have been using the same mat for 6 years now so they pretty much last for ever. I hope this helps. Andrew See full answer »
