Hand Tools For The Vegetable Garden
This hand vegetable hoe is made from high carbon steel on an FSC hardwood handle. It comes from Burgon & Ball's garden hand tool range. The hand hoe is perfectly sized with a long narrow blade that is ideal for hoeing between rows of potatoes, onions and other fruit and vegetable rows.
The timber handle is smooth and fits perfectly into the hand with comfort and the blade is sharp enought to cut through soil with ease. Ideal for use in the vegetable garden, allotment, polytunnel or with any kind of plants around the home and garden.
The hoe blade sits at an approximate 90 degree angle to the handle, this offers far greater leverage than other hand hoes, and makes earthing up and general hoeing much easier. As mentioned above, this vegetable hoe comes from Burgon & Ball who have been making fine garden tools since 1730.
