6ft Long Cascade Planter With Water Blade


In a nutshell....

Our cascade planter with water blade is an addition to our raised ponds and features a decorative planter, liner, stainless steel water blade and connecting hose. The planter is fixed on top of our raised pond kits to create beautiful water blade cascade feature.

This product is currently out of stock

A 6ft (180cm) by 2ft (60cm) planter and water blade which fits the Quickcrop range of raised garden ponds. The planter kit also includes a stainless steel 250mm wide water blade which produces a clean cascade of water into the pond below.

The kit comes complete with planter unit, water blade, planter liner and 25mm tubing which is easily connected to the pond pump.

Pond Pump
We recommend the Laguna Powerclear 3500 pump for use with this water feature. The blade cascade unit requires a flow rate of at least 2,500 litres per hour to produce a clean cascade of water which makes the Powerclear ideal. We have been seriously impressed with the Laguna pumps during testing for their build quality, very easy maintenance and powerful flow rates.

The cascade planter is available in both 6ft and 4ft versions depending on the size of Quickcrop pond you would like to position it on. All quickcrop pond designs feature either a 6ft or 4ft edge meaning the cascade planter can be fitted to our entire range.

HI. We are very interested in one of your raised ponds with cascade. Once the pond is filled does the water recirculate? Is the hose just used to fill it.

The water is pushed up through the Hose using a pump and comes out the blade on the front of the cascade but the water never actually goes in to the cascade Niall Quickcrop

Hi. Is the cascade planter in the same wood as the raised ponds in the standard or in the premium range as the colour looks more reddish on the premium, or doesn't it matter as they all match? Not sure whether to go premium or standard but want a matching cascade planter.

Do you have to leave the cascade on permanently or can you switch it of at night and stil have the pond pump airating and filtering the pond?

Hi Paul. You can switch from the cascade to just the pump in the pond at any time. A lot of people do this when it is very windy so that the water doesn't blow back on to the cascade.

Will the water from the compost arm the fish Plant food for example when washed into the pool most composts contain additives.

It depends what type of compost you use. I would recommend and organic compost and using plant feeds sparingly. Bear in mind if you have fish you will be using a filter system which filters nitrates created by the fish out of the water, it will do the same with excess nitrates from the plants. I would advise growing plants in the planter with low nutrient requirements like the lavender pictured in the photo.

Does the pump need to be on all of the time or can it be switched off at night. Also is it noisy.

Hi Ray. The pump makes little or no noise so noise won't be a problem. You can turn the pump off and on and this is fine once the levels of Oxygen in the Pond don't drop to low. Normally i would suggest no leaving it off for more than a few days at a time.

Do you sell water plants that can provide oxygen would this do if the water is not switched on every day I.e. If away on holidays or want to save energy costs

What happen to the water i.e. is it re used? will it need a water supply has is it a water filtering unit i.e.oxygen

The water is circulated around the pond and up through the cascade. The movement of the water creates oxygen in the system although a pump is recommended.

Hi. The cascade planter is 1.8m long x 60cm wide. The depth is 11 inches. The cascade blade is 250mm wide.


Important Delivery Information Spring 2021 - Covid 19
We will be operating our business as usual over the coming months as thankfully, current lockdown measures haven't required us to close our warehouses. Delivery times had been impacted earlier in the year with the increase in online shopping putting immense strain on couriers. We are nearly back to normal here in Quickcrop so we expect to have your order dispatched within 7-10 working days and delivery will be within 2-4 working days after this.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience which may have been caused due to Covid-19 and very much appreciate your patience during this time. Some of our customers had delays in receiving their orders in a timely manner but thankfully 99% of orders got through on schedule.

Unless 10 working days have elapsed since you placed your order please try to avoid contacting the office for delivery information as answering queries further slows packing. The Exception to this is our raised ponds which will take two weeks to be dispatched from our warehouse and and delivered to you. Standard Quickcrop deliveries only £4.95.

Standard delivery £4.95 - Our standard delivery rate is £4.95 and covers all goods except raised beds and some selected heavy items. £4.95 is the total delivery price irrespective of the number of items ordered.

Allotment raised beds £5.95 - Allotment style raised beds carry a delivery of £5.95 per complete order. £5.95 is the total delivery price irrespective of the number of allotment raised beds or additional items ordered.

Premier/Deluxe raised beds £9.95 - Premier or Deluxe raised beds carry a delivery of £9.95 per complete order. £9.95 is the total delivery price irrespective of the number of raised beds or additional items ordered.

Bulky Items £9.95 - Some large items (e.g. compost bins) carry a delivery charge of £9.95. Any items that carry the large item surcharge will be clearly marked on the product page.

We deliver nationwide to the UK, the island of Ireland, Austria, Benelux Countries, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland. Please see our delivery rates below:

£4.95 - The United Kingdom and Island of Ireland (Highlands and Islands may incur a surcharge, please contact us on 0044 1788 298 795 for details). For raised beds and bulky items please see above.

£9.95 - Austria, Belguim, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland.

How long does delivery take?
Stock permitting we aim to dispatch your goods within 2 - 3 working days of receiving your order. The average time taken from order to delivery is 4 - 5 days in the UK and Ireland, and up to 6 working days for France, Germany and the Benelux countries.

Can I track the parcel myself?
When the order has been dispatched we will provide you with a tracking number for your shipment, you will be able to log on to the Parcel Force website and see where your parcel is at any time. You can also call the office on 01788 298 795 or email info@quickcrop.co.uk if you need more information.

What If I'm not in at time of delivery?
The driver will leave a note with the depot contact number. Delivery can be arranged for the next day or a later date. The driver will not leave the parcel without a signature however they can leave your parcel with a neighbour if instructed to do so in our notes section at the checkout stage on the website. Alternatively if you are not home after Parcelforce/GLS have attempted delivery on 2 consecutive days they will leave a note to let you know that your parcel has been left at your local Post Office for collection.

I'm ordering several items, do they all arrive at the same time?
All items dispatched at the same time will normally be delivered in one delivery. The exceptions are bulk bags of soil or compost which comes in a separate delivery using a different delivery company.

What if my parcel is damaged or I wish to return the goods I have ordered?
Contact our office on 01788 298 795 and we will arrange collection and refund or replacement of faulty or damaged goods free of charge. We have a 'no quibble' policy on damages and will replace immediately once we receive an emailed photo of the damaged item.

If you wish to return an undamaged item for any reason we do charge a collection fee which may vary depending on the number of parcels, each case is different so please call us to arrange. Quickcrop Returns Policy

Great customer service is what we are all about. You will never have to worry about damages, the item not being as expected or simply deciding you don’t want the item and you wish to return it. If you've changed your mind about your purchase, please return it in its original condition with proof of purchase within 35 days of receiving your order and we'll exchange or refund it. We will also refund the standard delivery charge, provided you return the full order. If you're only returning some of the items on your order, then we will only refund the cost of those items. We do not cover the cost of returning the item to our warehouse.

Please note that the goods must be returned in the same condition that they left us in so if you have opened your parcel you must ensure it is well enough packed to arrive undamaged.

Damaged Goods Returns
If the parcel is visibly damaged upon delivery, Do Not Sign for the Order. After that just email us on quickcrop@gmail.com and we will do the rest. Obviously it is not always possible to spot a damage in that moment of delivery so don’t worry. As soon as you open your parcel if the goods are not as they should be just email us a photo of the issue clearly explaining the problem. We will be back to you within the day with a solution. This is normally to arrange a collection at a time that suits you and arrange for a replacement to be sent out. We have very few damages so we act very quickly. Please note the photo is important so we can show the damage to our couriers and be refunded for the delivery cost.

A Simple Return
So you have decided on receipt of the goods that you simply don’t want them. Just email us at quickcrop@gmail.com explaining that you want to return your goods stating your name and your order number. It is your responsibility to return the goods to us but once they have been received and checked at our end we will issue the refund minus the original delivery charge.

European Returns
Customers outside of the UK and Ireland are covered by the damages Returns policy above. If you want to return your goods due to the fact that you no longer want it you simply email us on quickcrop@gmail.com and let us know. You will then need to return your goods to the following address and once it arrives back to us in the condition it left us we will refund you the cost minus the original delivery charge.
