Description
This dripper line can be used on or below the soil surface. It is used with our 16mm fittings. It has self cleaning inline drippers every 30cm with flow rate of 2.3 litres per hour. The line is easy to cut and shape and is joined using simple push fit fittings, no tools are required for installation. The advantage over dripper lines with external drippers is ease of installation and reduced maintenance. Please see the spec below:
Sold per 10 meter length. Please select the quantity of 10m lengths you want in the quantity tab above
If you need more than 10 metres just order a connector between each section.

If you want a longer run than 10 metres just order in multiples in 10 metres and order a connector to join them. The pipes can easily be cut

should the irrigation pipe be laid with the dripper holes at the top or bottom of the pipe? See more »

Hi there. Thank you for your question. It doesn't matter that much whether the dripper is on the top or underside of the pipe but evaporation will be reduced if drippers are discharging directly into the soil (underside). See full answer »

Hi Colin. The system will work from a water butt but if your head height is low (and therefore water pressure) you may need a water butt pump to increase pressure. See full answer »

I have 1.18m wide beds and 0.86m wide beds in a polytunnel. Is it ok to run one length of irrigation pipe in narrow bed and two lengths in wider bed. Otherwise do I need to double up on both?

Hi Barry.
I think I would put a double length in the narrower bed. Dripper pipe should be between 30 and 50mm apart depending on what you are watering so 3 lines in the 1.18 bed wouldn't be overkill but you will probably get away with 2.

HI there, I have one bed measuring 5m by 5m, and 6 beds measuring 5m by 1m. If I am right that I need three hose lengths running the length of each of my six 1-meter-wide beds, and 15 lengths running the width of my 5-meter-wide bed - I need 33 X 5 mete...

...rs of hose! That is over 150 meters. Is this possible with your system? Is it possible to connect all of these and have them run off one tap. Am I reading correctly that a max run of 40m is recommended? Would I need to section off my beds?? See more »

Hi Mark. Sorry for the late reply on this one, I had written a note in my diary and neglected to follow up. The dipper pipe has a dripper every 33cm. Each dripper puts out 1.6L per hour. If you had a single 12ft (3.6m) length of pipe it would contain 10 drippers and therefore output 10.6 litres per hour. A standard water butt contains approx 200 litres therefore if you had the dripper line on continuously it would take 18 hours to completely drain the butt. If you had the dripper on for 2 hrs per day it would take 9 days to drain the butt. I hope this helps. Andrew See full answer »

Hello, I would to install this in my tunnels, are there any fittings included, or available to allow the 3 beds in each tunnel connected. My beds are 2ft wide would you advise one or 2 runs per bed. Thanks
