Made from 'Thermolene' UV stabilised recycled plastic, the Thermo King offers faster composting due to it's heat retaining properties. Available in 400, 600 and 1000 Litre sizes, please choose below:


Thermo Star Thermal Compost Bin

The Thermo Star from Garantia is a high quality modular composter made from Thermolene, a foam core fully recycled plastic that is both durable and provides insulation for faster composting. Thermolene is also UV stabilised for year round outdoor use.

The Thermo King is easy to fill and empty thanks to two large filling hatches unloading panels. The Thermo-Star differs from the Thermo King as the finished compost can be accessed from all sides of the bin. The unit is easy top assemble with a 'slot and lock' system and requires no tools to put together.

I ordered the Thermo-Star 600 litre and it arrived exactly to the day when you said it would. The bin is very robust with clear easy to follow instructions. I was delighted to discover that the 600 litre bin is pentagonal in shape. I was expecting a square shape and was wondering if I would have the room at the back of my garden for its 1.1meter doors. But no problems with this hexagonal shape. Before getting my bin I did ask you about the direction the bin doors opened. Did they open Left to right or right to left but nobody could give me a clear answer on that. In fact the doors will open in any direction which is great and makes this product more user friendly. Great doing business with Quickcrop.

is this suitable for food waste ? Looking for a composter/ digester for food waste

Hi Siobhan There is no base on these so if you are adding cooked food you may end up with a rodent problem. You can put uncooked food in and that won't be an issue. If you want to add all of your cooked and uncooked food waste in you would need to be looking at the Rotating compost bin or better still the Hotbin, Joraform or Hungry Bin. Obviously as you see by the price the Joraform is the best of the lot Niall Quickcrop

Delivery Information 
Delivery times had been impacted earlier in the year with the increase in online shopping putting immense strain on couriers. We are nearly back to normal here in Quickcrop.

Please alow up to 10 working days for delivery of bulk items. Otherwise, please allow 3-5 working days for delivery.

Standard Quickcrop deliveries only £4.95.

Standard delivery £4.95 - Our standard delivery rate is £4.95 and covers all goods except raised beds and some selected heavy items. £4.95 is the total delivery price irrespective of the number of items ordered.

Raised Beds Allotment/Premier/Deluxe raised beds £9.95 - Raised beds carry a delivery of £9.95 per complete order. £9.95 is the total delivery price irrespective of the number of raised beds or additional items ordered.

Bulky Items £9.95 - Some large items (e.g. compost bins) carry a delivery charge of £9.95. Any items that carry the large item surcharge will be clearly marked on the product page.

Will there be any extra charges? No, the price you pay at checkout is the price delivered to your door. There are no customs fees or extra delivery fees. 

Where do we deliver to?

We deliver nationwide to the UK, the island of Ireland, Austria, Benelux Countries, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland. Please see our delivery rates below:

£4.95 - The United Kingdom and Island of Ireland (Highlands and Islands may incur a surcharge, please contact us at support@quickcrop.com for further information.)

£9.95 - Austria, Belguim, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland.

How long does delivery take?
Stock permitting we aim to dispatch your goods within 2 - 3 working days of receiving your order. The average time taken from order to delivery is 3 - 5 days in the UK and Ireland, and up to 6 working days for France, Germany and the Benelux countries.

Can I track the parcel myself?
When the order has been dispatched we will provide you with a tracking number for your shipment, you will be able to log on to DPD's or Tuffnell's website and see where your parcel is at any time. You can, of course, contact us at support@quickcrop.com should you require any further information.

What If I'm not in at time of delivery?
You will be notified by text/email beforehand so you will know when to expect delivery. The driver will leave a note with the depot contact number if you are not in. Delivery can be arranged for the next day or a later date. 

I'm ordering several items, do they all arrive at the same time?
All items dispatched at the same time will normally be delivered in one delivery. The exceptions are bulk bags of soil or compost which comes in a separate delivery using a different delivery company.

What if my parcel is damaged or I wish to return the goods I have ordered?
Contact our office on 01788 298 795 and we will arrange collection and refund or replacement of faulty or damaged goods free of charge. We have a 'no quibble' policy on damages and will replace immediately once we receive an emailed photo of the damaged item.

If you wish to return an undamaged item for any reason we do charge a collection fee which may vary depending on the number of parcels, each case is different so please call us to arrange. We promise to keep returns fees fair and as low as possible. To arrange a return please contact us at support@quickcrop.com.

Quickcrop Returns Policy

Great customer service is what we are all about. You will never have to worry about damages, the item not being as expected or simply deciding you don’t want the item and you wish to return it. If you've changed your mind about your purchase, please return it in its original condition with proof of purchase within 35 days of receiving your order and we'll exchange or refund it. If you're only returning some of the items on your order, then we will only refund the cost of those items. We do not cover the cost of returning the item to our warehouse.

Please note that the goods must be returned in the same condition that they left us in so if you have opened your parcel you must ensure it is well enough packed to arrive undamaged.

Damaged Goods Returns
If the parcel is visibly damaged upon delivery, Do Not Sign for the Order. After that just email us on support@quickcrop.com and we will do the rest. Obviously it is not always possible to spot a damage in that moment of delivery so don’t worry. As soon as you open your parcel if the goods are not as they should be just email us a photo of the issue clearly explaining the problem. We will be back to you within the day with a solution. This is normally to arrange a collection at a time that suits you and arrange for a replacement to be sent out. We have very few damages so we act very quickly. Please note the photo is important so we can show the damage to our couriers and be refunded for the delivery cost.

A Simple Return
So you have decided on receipt of the goods that you simply don’t want them. Just email us at support@quickcrop.com explaining that you want to return your goods stating your name and your order number. It is your responsibility to return the goods to us but once they have been received and checked at our end we will issue the refund minus the original delivery charge.

European Returns
Customers outside of the UK and Ireland are covered by the damages Returns policy above. If you want to return your goods due to the fact that you no longer want it you simply email us on quickcrop@gmail.com and let us know. You will then need to return your goods to the following address and once it arrives back to us in the condition it left us we will refund you the cost minus the original delivery charge.
