The Perfect Windowsill Nursery

The Super 7 electric windowsill propagator is a complete compact nursery designed to fit on a windowsill. It consists of 7 vented mini propagators that are ideal for novice and more experienced gardeners alike. Windowsills provide the perfect light conditions for successful seed propagation but sometimes they can be a bit too cold. This electric propagator provides the perfect balance via the carbon fibre element.

A wide range of plants can be grown on any one of the units. The element ensures perfectly controlled and even heat distribution and raises the ambient compost temperature by 8 degrees.

We sell a huge amount of these Super 7 units as they seem to be a fantastically efficient unit for bringing on plants at home quickly in a regulated heated environment.

Windowsill Propagators For Growing Wheatgrass

Once wheatgrass seeds have sprouted, they need to be transferred to a tray of moist compost to grow on, these windowsill propagators make the ideal base for young wheatgrass shoots. Simply fill the tray part with a 1cm deep layer of compost and spread the sprouted wheat seeds across the surface. The wheatgrass will need to be kept in the dark a couple of days  while growing, so simply place a tea towel over the propagator's lid. Remember to check twice a day and keep the shoots and tea towel moist at all times. After about 2 days when the shoots have reached 3-4cm, they are ready to be placed back in the light. Remove the tea towel and place on a windowsill for a further few days until the grass begins to fork. You can re-use the propagator again and have multiple crops of fresh wheatgrass each month. Wheatgrass is full of nutrients and vitamins and is perfect for making your own healthy green juices or smoothies, or mixing in as part of a salad.

Excellent product, I tried it on a windowsill, some plants in the propagator some just on the windowsill. The difference was massive well worth the money! Really easy to use.

This is a perfect propagator for germinating seeds. You can leave it by the windowsill and the light will get in but if your heat is still inadequate then you can plug it in and the base will warm them by 8º so you can germinate a wide arrange of plants each one in its own little propagator unit. Perfect for seedlings and starting off chillies and other more tropical plants

Dear Niall ,I was asking about replacing the mini-propagators only as these may occasionally fall and break especially the lids , not the heating unit itself as I had one previously and it still works. It is a pity if these cannot be bought separately in an age when we are trying to reuse and reduce as much as we can.

Hi Ann I am afraid not. Like lots of things in this world now the manufacturers don't sell the parts only the units so that when they are done they are done. That said we sell a huge amount of the Super 7's and never have any issues with them Regards Niall Quickcrop

How do you separate the plants when ready to put in the greenhouse? I've seen seeds growing in small 60 x 60 plugs but this seems to grow all the plants together. I'm new to gardening but really want to learn. Any advice is more than welcome!

Hi Alan It totally depends on what crops or plants you are growing. That said as a general rule if you let the plants get to about 4/6 inches tall you can break the soil off the roots and plant them directly in to your Greenhouse Regards Niall Quickcrop

Hi Andreas. The super 7 propagator is fitted with a plug only so is not thermostatically controlled. Temperature is controlled by simply plugging the unit in and out.

All UK Standard Deliveries only £3.95, heavy orders only £9.95.

All our UK deliveries are only £3.95 no matter how many products we deliver anywhere in mainland UK. For heavy items like ponds or garden furniture we charge only £9.95 per complete order. We also deliver to other countries in Europe, please see our rates below.

How long does delivery take?
Stock permitting we aim to dispatch your goods within 1 - 2 working days of receiving your order. The average time taken from order to delivery is 3 - 4 days in the UK and Ireland, and up to 6/7 working days for France, Germany and the Benelux countries.

Can I track the parcel myself?
When the order has been dispatched we will provide you with a tracking number for your shipment, you will be able to log on to the relevant couriers website and see where your parcel is at any time. You can also call the office on 01788 298 795 or email if you need more information.

What If I'm not in at time of delivery?
The driver will leave a note with the depot contact number. Delivery can be arranged for the next day or a later date. The driver will not leave the parcel without a signature however they can leave your parcel with a neighbour if instructed to do so in our notes section at the checkout stage on the website. If your order is for Raised beds or Ponds it will be delivered by Tuffnells carriers and they do not require a signature for the delivery. They will leave your order in a safe place and put a note in your door telling you where it is (typically down the side of the house or around the back)

I'm ordering several items, do they all arrive at the same time?
All items dispatched at the same time will normally be delivered in one delivery. The exceptions are bulk bags of soil or compost which comes in a separate delivery using a different delivery company.

What if my parcel is damaged or I wish to return the goods I have ordered?
Contact our office on 01788 298 795 and we will arrange collection and refund or replacement of faulty or damaged goods free of charge. We have a 'no quibble' policy on damages and will replace immediately once we receive an emailed photo of the damaged item.

If you wish to return an undamaged item for any reason we do charge a collection fee which may vary depending on the number of parcels, each case is different so please call us to arrange. Quickcrop Returns Policy

Great customer service is what we are all about. You will never have to worry about damages, the item not being as expected or simply deciding you don’t want the item and you wish to return it. If you've changed your mind about your purchase, please return it in its original condition with proof of purchase within 35 days of receiving your order and we'll exchange or refund it. We will also refund the standard delivery charge, provided you return the full order. If you're only returning some of the items on your order, then we will only refund the cost of those items. We do not cover the cost of returning the item to our warehouse.

Please note that the goods must be returned in the same condition that they left us so if you have opened your parcel you must ensure it is well enough packed to make it back to us undamaged.

Damaged Goods Returns
If the parcel is visibly damaged upon delivery, Do Not Sign for the Order. After that just email us on and we will do the rest. Obviously it is not always possible to spot a damage in that moment of delivery so don’t worry. As soon as you open your parcel if the goods are not as they should be just email us a photo of the issue clearly explaining the problem. We will be back to you within the day with a solution. This is normally to arrange a collection at a time that suits you and arrange for a replacement to be sent out. We have very few damages so we act very quickly. Please note the Photo is important so that we can claim off our couriers.

A Simple Return
So you have decided on receipt of the goods that you simple don’t want them. Again simple. Just email us at explaining that we want to return your goods clearly stating your name and your order number. We will arrange for collection on an agreed day. Once the goods arrive back in our warehouse and they have been checked as in the condition they left us we will refund you less 15% of the product value. We won’t even charge you for the collection. Now it doesn’t get any better than that.

European Returns
Customers outside of the UK and Ireland are covered by the damages Returns policy above. If you want to return your goods due to the fact that you no longer want it you simply email us on and let us know. You will then need to return your goods to the following address and once it arrives back to us in the condition it left us we will refund you less the 15% restocking charge.
