Ultrasonic Cat Deterrent
Cat Free is powerful cat deterrent for the garden, it protects an area of 88 square metres. It can be used to protect gardens, lawns, flower beds, fish ponds, garden birds and wildlife. It works like a motion detector, detecting a cats movement and body heat through it's sensitive PIR lens and then emitting a series of modulating ultrasonic frequencies through the speaker. Over a short period of time the cat learns to avoid the protected area. Cat free is inaudible to the human ear, it is a safe and humane cat deterrent as it is completely harmless to cats and other wildlife.
Very economic to run, it runs on a 9 volt alkaline battery which will last for up to 3 months. A separate mains adaptor is available on this site and enables the cat watch unit to operate at peak efficiency as opposed to the declining power of batteries. The mains power unit also increases the alarm volume by 20%.
